Coming from a childhood full of voice and guitar lessons, I have always aspired to write my own music.
In the midst of quarantine in 2020, something clicked and I started writing. I am in the process of recording my first album Saguaro, which is expected in late 2021 or early 2022.
This develops my music supervision skills since I can pen original compositions for alternatives to specific music cues. While music supervising Justin Boswick’s upcoming feature film Chickasaw, I offered to try some original compositions. He loved the tracks and incorporated one of them into the script. This expanded my outlook on my career as a music supervisor and I hope to write more original compositions for film and TV.
